Lisa Peters

Research Associate, IISD-ELA

Lisa Peters is a research associate in non-invasive assessments with IISD Experimental Lakes Area. She is component lead (analytical chemistry) for water, soil, and sediment chemistry for the Freshwater Oil Spill Remediation Study and the Floating Wetland Treatments to Enhance Remediation projects.

Lisa’s work included coordinating and conducting field sampling and focused laboratory analysis of oil constituents in water, soil, sediments, and tissues. She holds a Master of Science from the University of Waterloo and a PhD in Environment and Geography from the University of Manitoba.
